Fire doors are one of the most important, and most neglected, parts of a building's fire protection. We inspect them properly and tell you exactly what needs putting right.

How we help
What it is
A detailed inspection of your fire doors: condition, gaps, seals, hinges, glazing, signage and hardware, with each door assessed against its notional rating (FD30, FD30s, FD60, FD60s).
Why it matters
Fire doors hold back fire and smoke and protect escape routes. Under the Fire Safety Order, with tightened duties from the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the Building Safety Act 2022, including Regulation 10 for higher-risk buildings, the responsible person must keep them maintained and fit for purpose.
Standards
Inspections are carried out to BS 476 fire-door standards, covering the door, frame, seals and ironmongery as a complete assembly.
What you receive
A full inspection report plus a Schedule of Works detailing any remedial work, set out clearly so a contractor can price and complete it.
